Living Water

What does it truly mean to have joy when life is pressing in from every side? This message takes us deep into the heart of that question, drawing from Paul's letter to the Thessalonians, where we discover that joy is not a feeling we wait for but a force we actively cultivate. The central insight is both simple and revolutionary: the way to receive joy is to give away what God has already placed inside us. When we pour out love, serve others, pray for those around us, and step across social and personal barriers to meet people where they are, something supernatural happens. God meets our own needs in the very moment we stop fixating on them. Paul himself, beaten, imprisoned, and shipwrecked, found his deepest joy not in comfortable circumstances but in watching others grow in faith. That same invitation stands open for us today. The message challenges us to ask ourselves honestly whether we are holding back the living water that God has placed within us, and what might happen if we simply let it flow.
